It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Terrill Parton of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrill Fred Parton, Sr. and Cordie Head Parton; his daughter Amy Parton Berry; and his children-in-law, Allen Wayne Parton and Susan Baynard Parton.
He is survived by: his children, Avis Short Parton of Rutherfordton, Linc Parton McDaniel (Robert) of Rutherfordton and Lane Parton of Waynesville, NC; and his sister Aileen "Tootsie" Parton Conyers of Forest City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
