She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Melton and Patricia Fowler Melton; and her husband James E. Lee. She is survived by: her sons, David Melton of Forest City, NC and James M. Levister, Jr. (Katelyn) of Morganton, NC; her siblings, John Melton of Lake Lure, NC, Mike Melton (Nikkie) of Blackstock, Wanda Darby (Eddie) of Chester and Angie Melton of Gastonia, NC; her grandchildren, David Melton, Jr. (DJ), Tristan Marso, Emma Levister, Delilah Levister, Grayson Levister and Garrett Levister; and her close friend Mike Levister of Forest City.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in memory of Tammy to Hospice of Carolina Foothills, 372 Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
