She was predeceased by: her parents, Enok Church and Margaret Cash Church; her husband Marvin DeWitt Silver, Sr.; and her siblings, Judy Church, Naomi Sewell, Mary Mauldin and Rev. Paul David Church.

She is survived by: her son Marvin DeWitt Silver, Jr. of Forest City; her granddaughters, Whitney Silver Hollifield (Stephen) of Concord and Brittney Silver Splawn (Joseph) of Denver, Colorado; her brother Rev. Eddie Church (Irene) of Ellenboro; and her friend Mary Bobek of Ruth.
