He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas Wilson and Vera Tate Wilson; his son Billy Wilson; and his siblings, Charlene Priscilla Wilson Radford and Perry Wayne Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughter Cristi Wilson Adair (Steven) of Cliffside; his sister Diann Wilson of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Joshua Cain Wilson, Kristin Mackenzie Moore (Dylan) and Katie Adair; and his great grandchildren, Novella Wilson and Lea Wilson.
