It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley L. Smith of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Whitfield Smith and Ollie Harris Smith; his wife Lillian C. Smith; his sons, Ronnie Dale Smith (Sherry) of Union Mills and Ricky Warren Smith of Shelby; his grandchildren, Bailey Smith Jones (Trase), Ryley Smith (Rachel), Travis Smith (Tamarah Hill) and Trent Smith (Betsy); and his great grandchildren, Ethan Smith and Adalynn Smith.
