It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Robert Gibson of Forest City, North Carolina, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hugh Gibson and Anna Florene Shawn Gibson; and his siblings, Myrna Stewart, Mike Huckaby and Cheryl Curtin.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law John Curtin of Clover, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Cochran (Sean) of San Francisco, CA, Debbie Stewart of Dallas, Texas, Ray Stewart of St. Louis, Randy Stewart of Dallas, TX, Brian Huckaby of Texas, Mark Huckaby of Texas and Kevin Huckaby of Texas.
