She was predeceased by: her close friend Harley Rice; her brother Timothy Nelson Rice; and her grandparents, Roy, Francis Baynard, Ola Shytle Higgins, Melbert Rice and Joyce Ramsey Rice.
She is survived by: her sons, Matthew and Samuel Girdler; her parents, Beverly Owensby (Dennis) of Forest City and Billy Rice (Elizabeth) of Morgan County, Tennessee; her siblings, Tabitha Rice of Tennessee, Justin Rice of Rutherfordton, Brandon Rice of Forest City and Lucas Owensby of Forest City; her stepbrothers, Adam Owensby of Wilmington, NC and Zachary Pardon of Forest City; her aunts, Bonnie Cooper of Forest City and Becky Kriske of Forest City; and her stepgrandparent Pat.
