He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gowan Silver; his daughter Mary Chappell (Steve) of Forest City; his stepbrother Larry White of Ellenboro; and his grandchildren, Grant, Makenzie, Destany, Jaden and Abel.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043).
