It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Romer Nichols (Forest City, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 1, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Richmond Nichols and Cleo Deans Nichols; his wife Nancy McDonald Nichols; his son John Whitmore Nichols; and his siblings, Eddie Ray Nichols and Brenda Nichols Peacock.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Nichols Anderson (Todd); and his granddaughter Caroline Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, his best friends.
