He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Cole of Forest City, Mary Cole Smith (Matthew) of Stanley, NC and Catherine Cole (Hewett Nichols) of Forest City; his brother Steve Cole (Lynn) of Forest City; and his grandchildren, Madeline Smith and Brecken Nichols.
