He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Boyd Rogers and Irene Tarwater Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Martha Breeden Rogers; his children, Phil Rogers (Amy) of Rutherfordton and Amanda Smith (Michael) of Bostic; his brother James Tarwater Rogers (Kristina) of Seymour, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Taylor Weaver (Danny), Tyler Weaver, Emma Rogers and Grace Rogers; and his great grandchild Raelynn Dani Pratt.
