He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chapman and Biddie Novella Horn Chapman; and his siblings, James Chapman, Hazel Flynn and Lib Teseniar.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Johnson Chapman; his son Robbie Chapman (Amy) of Forest City; his siblings, Jack Chapman of Forest City and Ann Splawn of Rutherfordton; his grandchildren, Larissa Chapman Ingle (Marcus), Nathan Chapman (Carla) and Justin Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Axel and Aizlynn.
