With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Boyd of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth Ditty of Colfax, CA, Doris Phillips (Bill) of Marion, NC, Ann Harrell (Gene) of Marion, NC and Ralph Boyd (Joy) of Marion, NC.; his parents, Carl Boyd and Ella Hollifield Boyd of Marion; his siblings, Glen Boyd and Helen McKinney; his niece Tammy Boyd Grindstaff; his great-niece McKenzie Cook; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Ditty and Ray McKinney.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith Boyd; his children, Jennifer Gosey and Jason; his daughter-in-law Joannie Boyd; and his grandchildren, Leanne, Jacob, Hannah Gosey, Jordan and Ira Boyd.
All attendees must adhere to Covid guidelines and wear a mask while in the church.
