It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Tessnear of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Tessnear and Laura Dobbins Tessnear; and his siblings, Gary Tessnear, Baxter "Bud" Tessnear and Doris Tessnear Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Aileen C. Tessnear; his caregiver Jeff Tessnear of Forest City; his sisters, Myrtle Robbins (Bill) of Six Points and Wanda Woodard (Jerry Woodard) of Wilson, NC; his granddaughter Heather Tessnear (Matt Campbell) of Inman, SC; and his great grandchild Adilyn Tessnear.
