He was predeceased by: his siblings, Johnny Fowler and Kathy Goforth Fowler. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Goforth (Ann) of Forest City and Nancy Morrow Waters of Cherryville; his wife Carol Ann Goforth of Rutherfordton; his children, Kelsie Kuhl of Forest City, Ryan Kuhl of Rutherfordton, Kaitlyn Yirin and Kaleb Yirin; his grandchildren, Adrian Kuhl and Ella Kuhl; and his siblings, Heather Goforth of Forest City, Tasha Kegley (Andrew) of Spindale, Johnathon Goforth (Teri) of Mooresboro, Jason Goforth of Cherryville, Darrell Goforth (Barbie) of Cherryville, David Hughes of Forest City, Michael Hughes of Forest City and William Henderson of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
