She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward Prewitt, Sr. and Mary Quinn Womick Prewitt; and her siblings, Earnest Edward Prewitt, Paul Wesley Prewitt, George Oliver Prewitt, Robert Edward Prewitt, Jr., Annie Maude Strickland, Ava Lois Crawford and Mary Ellen Brennan.
She is survived by: her husband James Hobbs; her children, Anita Fay Ledbetter Russell (Bob) of Burwick, PA, Jason Robert Ledbetter (Erin) of Bostic and Tim Ledbetter (Peggy) of Spindale; her sister Rachel "Lee" Cope of Forest City; and her stepchildren, Ricky Hobbs of Sandy Mush, Teresa Owens of Missouri and Gail Hobbs of Ellenboro. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
