He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Pinckney and Kate Keever Jones; his former wife Carol Daves Jones; his siblings, Pinckney, Charles, Henry, Lee, John, Jerry, Clifford, David Jones, Ray Keever, Annie Belle Robbins and Katie Lou Wells; and his stepdaughter Barbara Collins.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce DeLong Jones; his children, Timothy Jones (Lisa) and Ann Caldwell (Bruce); his stepsons, Scott (Lynn) and Mark Brantley (Mariel); his grandchildren, Julie (Olivia Caldwell), Mallory Crayton and Zachry Brantley; his siblings, Bob Jones (Wilma), Emma Sue Ayers and Joan Blankenship; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd Wells and Linda Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Perry Jones Endowment Fund, for the benefit of church youth who attend camps.

He was such a kind man, and would always share funny stories with me about things he and my daddy did as boys. Your mom was a caring wonderful lady also.
