Nicole Chalmers Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicole Chalmers (Forest City, North Carolina), who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robin Dolezel of Bridgman and Samuel Chalmers of Bridgman; her grandfather Jean Dolezel; her significant other Makayla Gordon; her stepfather Al Zemola; her brothers, Sam Chalmers, Jr. (Melody) of Grand Rapids and Tony Chalmers of Three Oaks, Michigan; her grandparents, Mildred Dolezel of Sawyer, Michigan, Bob and Wynona Chalmers of Bridgman; and her aunts and uncles, Cheryl Dolezel, Michele Kiel (Rick), Sue Busse (Dennis), Jim Dolezel and Gary Chalmers.

Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043 or to the Community Pet Center, 861 Piney Ridge Road, Forest City, NC 28043.

“I just read of nicole's passing and am deeply saddened. I was her teacher and coach awhile back and she is one of my favorites in 33 years in education. I gave her the nickname "rambo smurf" and she is what i call the "heinz hall of fame." it's sad how we lose touch with people we are so closed to, and i am not a social media person and just learned of this.
