It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mozelle Wilson of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Matheny and Lottie Matheny; her husband W. F. "Fred" Wilson; her grandson Beau Raadik Wilson; and her siblings, Jack Matheny, Glenn Matheny and Irene Hamrick.
She is survived by: her children, Butch (Carol) of Ellenboro, Mike (Debbie), Steve (Janet), Aaron (Kelli) and Ramona Wilson McEntire (Tim) of Forest City; her grandchildren, Michelle Wilson, Jill Wilson, Brook Pennington (Jonathan), Leigh Wilson (Michael), Melanie McEntire, Reagan Wilson, Michaela McEntire, Hanna Wilson, Jordan Hubbard (Justin) and Maggie Wilson; her great grandchildren, Christopher Greene, Alexis Hamrick, Madyon, Bryley Pennington, Andrew Stiles, Mason and Maverick Harton; her great great grandchildren, Natalie Jones and Axel Greene; her sister Faye Matheny Nichols of Forest City; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Wilson Kirk (David) of Knoxville, TN and J. C. Wilson of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rutherford County Senior Center, 193 Callahan Koon Rd., Suite 132, Spindale, NC 28160, so others can benefit from the meal program as Mozelle did for many months.
