He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bryan and Mary Beatice Ervin. He is survived by: his wife Janet Taylor Ervin; his daughters, Michelle Hong (Doug) of Greenville, SC and Stephanie Lewis (Justin) of Moore, SC; and his grandchildren, Mia Hong, Ethan Hong, Evan Hong, Cole Hong, Gabby Behrns, Isabella Behrns and Penelope Lewis.
