She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nolan Whisnant and Florence W. Whisnant; and her son James Woody. She is survived by: her sister Ruth Powell; her daughters, Judy Cairo (Michael Simpson) and Joanne Oates; her daughter-in-law Linda Woody; her grandchildren, Ashley Friedman (Addison) and Justin Woody (Sara); and her great grandchild Peyton Friedman.
