It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sue Conner of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawson Hunter McFarland and Eva Gettys McFarland; her daughters, Dorothy Elliott and Debbie Simpson; her siblings, J. D. McFarland, Maggie Robbins and Blanche Greene; and her great grandchild Daisy Holland.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Gosnell of Forest City, Danny Conner (Jim Stamey) of Plum Branch, SC, Donnie Conner (Diane) of Forest City and Doug Conner (Betty) of Bostic; and her grandchildren, Nikki Lee, Sammy Elliott, Roger Holland, Amy Holland Palmeri (Cliff), Brian Holland, Beth Conner, Pamela Phillips, Charlie Conner, Stacey Bychowski, Cody Conner (Stacey), Ritchie Swink and Lee Ann Conner.
