She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ownbey and Mary Jane Teseniar Ownbey; her granddaughter Miranda Watson; and her siblings, Carolyn Price and C. J. Ownbey.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Radford (Greg) of Forest City, Carmen Garren of Chesnee, Calvin Watson (Polly) of Rutherfordton and Tony Watson (Patricia) of Rutherfordton; her siblings, Edward Ownbey (Kaye) of Forest City, Kenny Ownbey (Sharlene) of Forest City, Martha Freeman (Bill) of Sunshine, Ruthie Di Maria of Charlotte and Ruby Roberts of Matthews; her grandchildren, Megan Rollins (Christopher), Ryan Talley (Amanda Marlow) and Luke Watson; and her great grandchild Kaden Talley.
