Smith and Anne Sims Smith; her husband Horace Mode; her children, Anthony Mode (Lori) of Morganton and Amanda Smith (Billy) of Forest City; her grandsons, Anthony Smith of Forest City and Ryan Mode of Hildebran, NC; and her siblings, Shirley Harmon of Newport News, VA, Faye Ward of Forest City and Charles Smith of Rutherfordton.
