She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Branscom and Irene Porter Head; her husband Forrest "Smoky" Burgess; her daughter Donice Burgess Henke; and her siblings, Lewis Head, Henry Head, David Head and Susan Hance.
She is survived by: her son Larry Harold Burgess (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Greg Burgess (Michelle), Stephanie Burgess Downey (Chuck) and Carl Henke (Salina); her great grandchildren, Suzanne Burgess Matthews (Nick), Gregory Burgess (Melanie), Carson Burgess Downey and Brittany Mclain; and her great great grandchildren, Hope, Seth and Oliver.
