The passing of Lucille Henderson Byers Roberson of Forest City, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 11, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Henderson and Bertha Blackwell Henderson; her husbands, Walter "Slick" Byers, Orville Spake and William Roberson; her son Adrian Byers; her great grandchild Elijah Hickman; and her sisters, Corine Fowler, Evelyn Doggett, Polly Price, Helen Blackwell, Grace Conner and Ruth Deese.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Byers Harris of Forest City; and her granddaughters, Mandy Harris of Forest City, Rebecca Lee Hickman (Tyree) of Forest City and Tabitha Marks (Zachery) of Forest City. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caroleen Methodist Church (137 Mills Ave, Ellenboro, NC 28040). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery (1743 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
