She was predeceased by: her parents, R. P. Freeman and Ruth Sparks Freeman; and her brother Johnny Freeman. She is survived by: her husband Rick Roper; her sons, Tony Powell (Catherine) of Ellenboro and Timmy Powell (Lisa) of Ellenboro; her stepdaughter Jessica Roper (Vinnie Reiman) of Casar; her grandchildren, Camryn, Chase and Mason Powell; and her stepgrandson Flay Reiman.
