She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Morris and Iriebelle Jackson Morris; her husband James Edward Johnson; and her siblings, Marcelle Sisk, Carolyn Jolly, Juanita Morris, Pansy Pendergrass and Robert Morris.
She is survived by: her son Derek Johnson (Alison Lyles); her grandson Ethan Johnson; and her sister Jean Ruff. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crowe's Funeral Chapel (118 College Ave, Rutherfordton, NC 28139). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
