She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Shorty" Sailors and Annie Mae Hollifield Sailors; her son Christopher Pleasant; and her siblings, Jay, Jim, Lawrence Sailors, Burene Arrowood, Marilyn Hubbard, Patsy Hollifield, Evelyn Goode and Annie Mae Faircloth.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Pleasant; her son Kevin Pleasant (Jennifer Carver) of Forest City; her granddaughter Amberlyn Austin; and her sisters, Rosemary Barkley and Kathy McCloskey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
