It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathey Hicks (Forest City, North Carolina), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schultz and Marie Layton Schultz. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Hicks; her brother Johnny Goforth; her children, Michelle Hicks of Mooresboro, Jamie Hicks (Torie) of Mooresboro and Adam Hicks (Jessica) of Forest City; her brother Ray Goforth (Nell); and her grandchildren, Kalab Yirin, Kaitlyn Yirin, Rylie Hicks, Kolton Hicks and Addyson Hicks.
