With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Junior Toney of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gleason Toney, Sr. and Ossie Murray Toney; and his siblings, Dianne Toney, Brenda Toney, Kathy Perry, Louise Smiley and Billy M. Toney.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Toney Skipper of Bostic, Cheryl Baynard of Forest City, Darrell Toney (Loretta) of Forest City, Brian Toney of Harris and Jim Biggerstaff of Mooresboro; his siblings, Etta L. Toney of Forest City and Jerry D. Toney (Brenda) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Heather Powell, Christian Toney, Michael Toney, Jeffrey Baynard and Joshua Baynard; his great grandchildren, Briana Powell, Sarah Toney, Emma Powell, Jonah Baynard, Jasper Baynard and Bradley Baynard; and his great great grandchild Felicity Rose Baynard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
