It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Green (Forest City, North Carolina), who passed away on September 15, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Green and Inez Reid Green; and his brother Douglas Green. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his sons, Josh Green of Forest City, Michael Green of Forest City and Stephen Green of Roanoke, VA; his nieces, Holly Scoggins (Justin) of Winterhaven, FL and Jennifer Estes (Dewayne) of Gaffney, SC; his grandchildren, Lylah, Natalie Green of Forest City, Ryleigh Harris of Gaffney and Chloe Estes of Gaffney; his siblings, Howard Green (Pat) of Mooresboro, NC, Gene Green of Forest City, Carolyn Dysart (Tom) of Mooresboro, NC, Linda Hiott of Forest City and Steve Matheny (Phyliss); and his great-nephews, Darian Gilbert and Evan Metcalf of Forest City.
