She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Burleson and Louise Ballard Burleson; and her brother Jimmy Burleson. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Burleson of Forest City and Anna Thrift (Basil Stacy) of Forest City; her siblings, Michael Burleson (Lisa) of Forest City, Brenda Warrick of Mooresboro and Kim Keitt of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Ryan Joseph Stacy and Veronica Bailey; the father of her children Lee Thrift; and her friend Sharon Allen.
