He was predeceased by: his parents, Horton Rumfelt and Lillie Williams Rumfelt; his grandsons, Adam McNeely and Christopher McNeely; and his siblings, Clyde, Charlie, Henry, Norris Rumfelt, Pearl Rumfelt, Dot Ensley and Virginia Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Mittie Campbell Rumfelt; his children, Norma McNeely (Robin) of Sunshine, Jimmy "Buddy" Rumfelt, Jr. (Rita) of Cliffside and Shela Trotter (Michael) of Forest City; and his sister Peggy Harris of Forest City. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren (with one on the way), one great-great grandchild and his beloved pet.
