She was predeceased by: her parents, Surness Lovelace and Mae Long Lovelace; her husband D. G. Padgett; her siblings, J. C. Lovelace, Odell Lovelace, Bobby Lovelace, Irene Owens and Mozelle Martin; and her great grandchild Brittany Marie Hollifield.
She is survived by: her sister Dress Shop; her daughters, Brenda Padgett Hollifield of Forest City and Anita Padgett Martin (Robert) of Rutherfordton; and her grandchildren, Amy White, David Hollifield, Ginger Hollifield, Steven Martin and Jennifer Silvers.
