He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Karen) of Rutherfordton and Jason (Pam) of Conover; his siblings, Larry Powell of Cliffside, Mike Powell of Rutherford County, Debbie Moose of Statesville and Rhonda Beheler of Forest City; his grandchildren, Caroline Longerbeam, Nicholas Longerbeam, Cole Powell, Caroline Grace Powell, Jackson Powell and Campbell Powell; and his pet Lucy.
