He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel and Fannie Belle Greene Henson. He is survived by: his wife Arvenia Hines Henson; his daughters, Kimberly Chapman (Gerald) of Rutherfordton and Debra Cilone (Brian) of Rutherfordton; his brother Robert P. Henson (Evelyn) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Jordan Alexander Chapman (Lindsay), Allison Brooke McDaniel (Mark), Austin Blake Cilone and Addison Grace Cilone; his great grandchildren, Zillie Rose Chapman, J. R. Bryant, Derek McDaniel and William Kimbrell Chapman; and his great great grandchild Ava Marie McDaniel.
