It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerrie York Fite of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell York and Belear York. She is survived by: her daughters, Sonya Fite Rogers (John) of Rutherfordton and Michele Fite Dolezel of Arden, NC; her sister Brenda York Stewart of Forest City; and her grandchildren, Jason Buff (Mabel) of Gaffney, Michael Kent Horn of Forest City, Cassi Denton (Dan) of Rutherfordton, Russell Callahan (Stephanie) of Waxhaw, NC and Specialist Spencer Callahan (Ashley) of Clarksville, TN. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
