She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Myrtle Queen Jones Brown; her husband Clyde Smith; her children, Gail Bumgarner and Butch Smith; her granddaughter Emily Williams; her son-in-law David Norris; and her siblings, Mable Mayn, Louise Walker, Joyce Norville and Billy Queen Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Norris, Lisa Moir (Ron) and Mike Smith (Arlene); and her children-in-law, Linda Smith and David Bumgarner. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spencer Baptist Church (187 N Oak St, Spindale, NC 28160). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
