She is survived by: her husband Jerry Sanders; her children, Melinda Sanders Smith of Forest City and John Curtis Sanders (Leann) of Albemarle; her son-in-law Devin Landon Smith of Spindale; her siblings, Ethel Brackett of Forest City, Patsy Ann Brackett Bryant (Mike) of Pittsboro and Carl Wayne Brackett (Dianne) of Shelby; her sister-in-law Brenda Brackett of Morganton; her grandchildren, Jerry Lee Smith (Kristin) of Concord, Devin Landon Smith Jr. of Ellenboro and Liza Badger of Ellenboro; her great grandchildren, Isabella Smith and Levi Smith; and her pets, Dozer and Copper.
