He was predeceased by: his parents, Darvin Turner and Estelle Sisk Turner; his wife Nancy Ensley Turner; his siblings, David, Bill, Donald Turner and Margaret Head; and his brother-in-law Monroe Ensley.
He is survived by: his daughter Meloney Tuner Overcash (Thad) of Forest City; his siblings, Frank Turner (Helen), Brannon Turner (Etta Mae), Broadus Turner (Aileen), Myra Conner, Christine Hodge and Patsy Edwards (Lewis); and his sister-in-law Midgie Ensley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Community Pet Center, 861 Piney Ridge Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
