He is survived by: his children, Debra C. Downey (Wayne) of Rutherfordton and Ronnie Lee Cannon (Donna) of Kings Mountain; his sister Nadine Scruggs; his grandchildren, Tyler Cannon and Alyse Cannon Milstead (Wesley); and his great grandchild Evelyn "Evie" Berke Milstead.
