She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Davis and Daisy Adams Davis; and her sister Tracy Davis. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Nix; her brothers, Tim Davis (Denise) of Chesapeake, VA and Ray Davis of Norfolk, VA; and her brother-in-law Harold Nix (Diane) of Forest City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery (1743 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
