She was predeceased by: her parents, Voyde Brendle and Zula Propts Brendle; her former husband John Hudson; her husband Huett Grose; her son Skip Ward; and her siblings, Bryan, Jim, Joe, Steve, Pate, Stowe Brendle, Geneva Black and Frances Castner.
She is survived by: her son Robert Brendle of Forest City; her sister Comilla Daniels of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, April Morrow, Jennifer Aldredge and John Ward; and her great grandchildren, Keltcie Hoppes, Jeremiah Morrow, Kalynn McMurry, Travis McMurry, Gavin Aldredge and Addison Aldredge.
