He was predeceased by: his children, Kenneth Mays and Katherine Meyer. He is survived by: his son Dr. David C. Mays (Teresa) of Washington, NC; his grandsons, Aaron Mays and Tyler Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Holden Mays, Jasper Mays, Windsor Johnson and Isles Johnson.
