It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary McCraw Sr. of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Lee McCraw and Lorena Hardin McCraw; and his sisters, Marian Short and Margaret Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Pansy McCraw; his children, Kathy Cole (David), Sheila Holland (Pete), Christie Canipe (Scott) and Gary McCraw, Jr. (Angie); and his sisters, Mary-Evelyn Driver and Rita Faye Morrison. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
