He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lonnie Callahan, Sr. and Myrtle Leigh Harrill Callahan. He is survived by: his son Fred L. Callahan, III (Wendy) of Morganton; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Grace Callahan and Collin Reed Callahan.
