He is survived by: his parents, Floyd Elmer Tate, Jr. and Joyce Toney Tate of Ellenboro; his wife Shirley Dalton Tate; his son Floyd "TJ" Tate IV (Jessica) of Spindale; his stepson Wesley Murray of Sunshine; and his siblings, Mark Tate (Kathy), Anna Maria Coffey (Joe) and Christina Holland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
