With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evelyn Quinton of Forest City, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Evelyn left this world on August 5, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie D. Whiteside and Cora Eplee Whiteside; her husband James Quinton; her granddaughter Mindy Quinton; her great grandchild Brad Quinton; and her siblings, Flora Harris and Henry Whiteside.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Quinton (Marsha) of Raleigh, Johnny Quinton (Sandy) of Spartanburg, Irene Lett (Steve) of Forest City, Ginny Tallent (Ralph) of Forest City, Patricia St and Clair (Eddie) of Forest City; and her sister Hazel Cogdell of Union Mills. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
