She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Garrett Davis and Cecily Dills Davis; her husband John E. Woodall; her son George Vernon Nichols; and her brother William Garrett Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Genevieve Owensby of Rutherfordton, Vivian Stork of Byron and Diane Butler of Highlands; her grandchildren, Tosha McClain and David Slinkard; and her great grandchild Quinlan Slinkard.
